Child-Advocacy-Center

Clients with a Cause

In March, our #ClientsWithACause program supports The Child Advocacy Center, Inc. (CAC) and their mission to place the needs of the child first in an investigation for abuse. With locations in Springfield and West Plains, services they provide to their 16 county service area include forensic interviews, sexual assault forensic exams, child at risk exams, and multidisciplinary team coordination. Currently underway throughout 2017, children can help raise money for the CAC through their ‘Kids for Kids Campaign!’ Pick up one of their piggy banks, invite a child to help feed it with change or dollar bills, and give it back to CAC when full! Raise awareness and encourage kids to help other kids in the community! Find out more about the campaign in this OzarksFirst news story in the link below. #CACKids4Kids #KPMCARES

Don’t miss your chance to attend this year – tickets are $35 and can be purchased on their website in the link below. #KPMCARES

KPM is proud to support area non-profits including:

Cents of Pride

As part of the Springfield Public Schools’ Cents of Pride program, KPM is excited to sponsor Westport Elementary School’s Westport Warehouse! This program uses positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior and attendance. The Warehouse is open twice each month, and students are assisted by a personal shopper to pick out just the right items. As one of the elementary schools in Springfield with the lowest attendance rate and approximately 86 percent of students qualifying for the free and reduced lunch program, we are happy to sponsor this program and do our part to help provide opportunities for educational success!

United Way

KPM proudly supports the United Way of the Ozarks (United Way) and their mission to improve lives in the Ozarks by uniting community support. In 2016, the United Way presented KPM with the ‘Leo’s Champions’ award for achieving a 15 percent or greater increase in employee contributions for their 2015 Annual Campaign and also recognized KPM for having a top 50 local campaign. KPM also is glad to sponsor and participate in their ‘Day of Caring’ event annually, which is the largest single-day volunteer event in Southwest Missouri. Overall, KPM’s ‘Day of Caring’ participation for 2015 and 2016 included the completion of nine projects by 47 volunteers.
