Cafeteria Plan
The following benefits are available through our cafeteria plan and are elected annually:

Health insurance premiums for employee and/or dependents.

Medical expenses not covered by the health insurance plan, i.e. health insurance deductibles, dental work, eyeglasses & eye exams, etc.

Up to $5,000 per year of dependent care expenses.
Life Insurance
AICPA group life insurance coverage is provided by KPM. If you qualify, the amount of the coverage is three times the employee base annual salary and is paid by the firm.
401(K) Retirement Plan
Eligible employees may start making 401(k) elective contributions on December 1 or June 1 after the employee's one-year anniversary of employment.
Profit-Sharing Plan
Employees qualify for the KPM profit-sharing contribution after one month of employment.
Business Development Bonus Plan
KPM rewards employees for bringing in new clients to the firm. All employees are eligible for the business development bonus.
Memberships & Continuing Professional Education (CPE)
KPM pays employees annual dues to the American Institute of CPA's, Missouri Society of CPA's, and selected civic and charitable organizations. The firm also pays the costs of the average annual requirement of forty hours of CPE.
Travel
Overnight travel with KPM is limited. Some travel for CPE and client engagements is necessary but is usually not significant. However, each employee's client assignments are different and are subject to change.
CPA Exam
KPM provides paid time off to employees to sit for the CPA exam.
Paid Time Off
Employees receive paid time off (PTO) annually. This includes vacation, sick time for employees and family members, doctor visits, bereavement and personal time. PTO hours are based upon years of service and are accrued monthly.
Additional Paid Time Off
The professional staff can earn up to 80 hours of additional paid time off to be used outside busy season.
Holidays
The firm observes 7 paid holidays as well as April 16th. April 16th is designated as a paid holiday for all KPM employees. The office is closed in appreciation for the employees' extended commitment during tax season.
Work Schedules
Flexible work schedules can often be provided as a benefit for employees with unique situations.
The Internet & Internet E-mail Addresses
The Internet is accessible at every employee's computer terminal. Each employee is set-up with e-mail address.
Mentor Training Program
KPM's Mentor Training Program is designed to provide internal, hands-on training and on-going communication between upper management and staff.
Office Attire
KPM has an established dress code that is to be followed by all employees. Employees working in the office can dress business casual.
