Kirkpatrick, Phillips & Miller, CPAs is the largest locally owned CPA and Business Advisory Firm in Southwest Missouri. Founded in 1966, KPM employs over 60 people including 12 shareholders and 21 other individuals who are certified public accountants. We have offices in Springfield and Branson, Missouri. The size of our firm provides us with a broad base of technical expertise, which comes from the vast experience of our 12 shareholders and our professional staff.

KPM is a member of the Center for Public Company Audit Firms (CPCAF), and as such, adheres to the peer review requirements and practice guidelines established for firms who work with publicly held companies. We received an unqualified opinion with respect to our firm’s quality control procedures during our most recent peer review. The firm is also registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Our services go beyond tax, audit and accounting services to include business consulting, financial planning, management assistance and compliance reporting.

KPM is a member of CPA Associates International, a worldwide association of 146 independent CPA firms with correspondent offices in most major cities around the globe. This membership allows us to draw on one of the largest accounting organizations in the world for the expertise of fellow members. CPA Associates has a financial institution committee which is very active in assisting members with keeping current on new tax, accounting and auditing developments within the banking and thrift industries.

KPM’s shareholders and staff have been providing services to financial institutions for over 30 years. Our professionals have a proven track record with servicing institutions at all stages – from organizational and development stage to multi-institution holding company groups. At the present time, we provide services for 31 financial institutions, including three public financial institutions. Financial institution clients range in size from $15 million to over $2 billion. We currently work with financial institutions in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.

All shareholders and staff involved in providing services to our financial institution clients continually update their knowledge and experience through attending continuing professional education courses focusing on the financial institution industry and through our involvement in the financial institution committee of CPA Associates International, Inc.
