This specialized certificate, awarded by the American Institute of CPAs, is for auditors with at approximately three to seven years of experience performing single audits in compliance with the latest Uniform Guidance requirements. In addition, it signifies that the Intermediate Single Audit Exam has been passed, which covers topics such as internal controls over compliance, compliance testing, and how to identify federal assistance and determine a nonfederal entity’s major programs.
