The U.S. economy is the world’s largest, with gross domestic product (GDP) more than $18.5 trillion in 2016. China ranks second, with $11.4 trillion in GDP, followed by Japan ($4.4 trillion), Germany ($3.5 trillion), the U.K. ($2.8 trillion), France ($2.5 trillion), and India ($2.3 trillion). Italy, Brazil, and Canada round out the top 10.
