We welcome current students and recent graduates to join KPM and explore the possibilities available in the accounting industry. Learn more about what path you want to take!
We traditionally hire entry level staff positions in September and October. During our fall interview season, we will interview students who are approaching graduation in December or the following May or August and who will have completed 150 credit hours by graduation.
You must be eligible to work in the United States on a full-time permanent basis. If you attend Missouri State University, Drury University, or Southwest Baptist University, please contact the Career Center to schedule an on-campus interview. If you attend a different college or university, please send your resume and cover letter by early September.
We provide accounting internship opportunities and primarily focus on students entering their junior or senior year or have begun their master’s program.
Internships are available during tax season and year-round in our accounting outsourcing and consulting departments. Please note that, at this time, we do not offer summer-only internships.

"KPM has a relaxed culture while maintaining a standard of excellence. Family life balance is encouraged and private offices are provided instead of cubicles. We also have the opportunity to discover our personal career strengths over time rather than choosing a career path on day one and enjoy a generous PTO policy that allows a great deal of flexibility."

"Great culture that pushes the staff to their full potential while being patient when doing so. I like that the staff is generous with providing knowledge to one another, and getting the job or task completed seems to be the priority, not style points for who is smarter."
"Every team member, whether shareholder, manager, supervisor, staff, or administrative, is treated as an adult. Everyone is trusted to act in the best interest of the firm. Because of that, we hold ourselves accountable so we preserve the trust of others. The firm's culture allows us to embrace our individuality without compromising our professionalism. I like to say that the firm is large enough to handle any job, but small enough to still care."
