KPM CARES About Our Community

We love where we live and work and aren’t afraid to show it. KPM believes in building stronger communities through the commitment of time, talent, and donations. We understand there’s only one way to lead—by example.

KPM Lives United

KPM proudly supports the United Way Ozarks Region and their mission to improve lives in Southwest Missouri by uniting community support. We happily give through their annual campaign as well as sponsor and participate in ‘Day of Caring’ each year. This past year, we pitched in with 35 volunteers giving back for a total of 220 hours!

Let’s Hear It for
This Month’s Client With a Cause

In February, our #ClientsWithACause program supports CASA of South Central Missouri and their mission to provide advocacy for abused and neglected children in the court system by training individuals throughout the local community.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers participate in a 30-hour training program to become familiar with the child welfare system, courts, and court report writing. It’s their role to gather information from everyone in a child’s life and report to a judge to advocate for the child’s best interests, a practice called best-interest advocacy. CASA volunteers work with the Family Support Team comprised of child welfare partners, family members, and others who are party to the child’s case to see that the child’s needs are being met, and, eventually, reunify the child with their biological parents, if it can be safely achieved.

Since 2004, CASA of South Central Missouri has served 1,400+ children in Maries, Phelps, Pulaski, and Texas Counties. Donate to this non-profit and support their mission of advocacy for children. #KPMCARES
