KPM CARES About Our Community

We love where we live and work and aren’t afraid to show it. KPM believes in building stronger communities through the commitment of time, talent, and donations. We understand there’s only one way to lead—by example.

KPM Lives United

KPM proudly supports the United Way of the Ozarks and their mission to improve lives in Southwest Missouri by uniting community support. We happily give through their annual campaign as well as sponsor and participate in ‘Day of Caring’ each year. This past year, we pitched in with 21 volunteers giving back for a total of 84 hours!

Let’s Hear It for
This Month’s Client With a Cause

In February, our #ClientsWithACause program supports CASA of Southwest Missouri and their mission to recruit, train, and support community volunteers who assist the court in protecting the best interests of abused and neglected children in Southwest Missouri. A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer is a specially-trained citizen appointed by the Juvenile Court judge to represent a child victim in cases of abuse and neglect. A CASA’s role in abuse and neglect proceedings is to present the court with a unique ‘child-centered’ perspective regarding what is in the best interest of the child.

The need for CASA volunteers is staggering as there are currently 1,300+ children in foster care in Greene, Christian, and Taney Counties. Are you interested in becoming a CASA volunteer? Register for their next training session on Thursday, February 8 – the deadline to register is February 5.
