KPM

In Memory Of Randall Moots

We mourn the loss and honor the life and legacy of our former Managing Shareholder, Randall Moots, who passed away Sunday, April 9.  He served as Managing Shareholder from January 2018 until his retirement in 2021, a role that was an end cap to his distinguished career in public accounting. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, including his mother, beloved wife of more than 50 years, Anita, their three children, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Randall was a teacher and mentor to many – employees and clients alike and was known for his quick wit and sage advice. One piece of wisdom he often shared was to find a way to have fun at work each day. He lived this, and we are privileged to share pictures of Randall doing just that – having fun. He will always be remembered for his love of music, the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, narrating tales of travel with his beloved Anita, and delight in opening each firm meeting with a joke.

“I, along with KPM, share in the sad news of Randall passing; he served as a mentor for many here at the firm. We are forever grateful for his contributions to KPM and the accounting industry. We are all better for having known him and send our thoughts and prayers to Anita and family,” shared Sean Balisle, managing shareholder.
